Spicy Korean BBQ 韓式烤肉
*Same recipe for chicken, pork, beef, and seafood
Ingredients:
-
Sliced meat (1 lb)*
-
Egg (1)
-
Soy sauce (1 ½ tbsp) (preferably light sodium)
-
Wine (2 oz)
-
Sesame oil (1 tsp)
-
Water (1 oz)
-
Sugar (1 tbsp)
-
Onion (about half a medium onion) (Julienne cut)
-
Spicy Korean Marinade Powder (3 tbsp)
Instructions:

Prepare 1 lb of sliced meat. Properly thaw if frozen
-
In a separate clean bowl, measure 3 tbsp of Spicy Korean Marinade Powder
-
Add 1 ½ tbsp of soy sauce and1 tsp of sesame oil
-
Add 2 oz of wine and 1 oz of water
-
Add 1 tbsp of sugar and
-
Crack and add 1 egg
-
Mix all the ingredients together until thoroughly combined
-
Add pork one slice at a time to evenly coat meat with marinating sauce and place in a separate container
-
After all the meat are fully soaked, place container of meat in the refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour or overnight for best taste
-
When ready, remove marinated meat from the refrigerator and heat up the grill
-
If using pan fry, remember to add some vegetable oil to pan so meat won’t stick to the pan
-
Place each slice of meat on the grill and cook both sides evenly until fully cooked
-
Serve in bread for sandwiches, or serve alongside rice, noodle, vermicelli, tortilla, etc
